The Sanmei Works Co., LTD THI-SBT Orientating Stud Feeding Unit is the most efficient way to simultaneously roll double ended studs that are not symmetrical and require orientation to the thread rolling machine. The unique and efficient design ensures that all blanks coming from the vibrator bowl get threaded. This is done by a censor placed at the top of a vertical rotary disk. This sensor identifies the blanks orientation and sends a signal to the PLC unit to drop the blank through a tube leading to the starter block of the thread roller. If the sensor identifies that blank upside down the blank is retained in the dial until it eventually is inverted at the bottom of the dial and then is dropped through a tube to the starter block of the thread roller. This well designed machine is superior to other brands because the methods of the other makers units only identify the position of the blank, the position of the stud and if incorrect it will kick it out to the vibrator bowl hoping that it will be re-entered in the correct position in the future. The Sanmei THI-SBT Units design ensures 100% of the blanks in the dial reach the thread roller. These units are available in two sizes SBT250 and SBT380.
