CCM Machinery Co., LTD offers the PSE series is an Eddy Current machine designed to check for foreign material and hardness thus increasing our ability for a more precise and efficient sort. The PSE series is a gravity track type inspection system. This machine feeds from a vibratory feeder into a track system and then into the Eddy Current coils system. The parts then pass through the eddy Current system. These parts are then analyzed and compared to the specifications from the customer's requirements or blue prints and the machine then determines if the product is in accordance with the specifications that were provided. If the part is in non-conformance, the machine will send the part to the reject chute. If however the part is in conformance or within specification it is allowed to pass into the good chute. This is all done at speeds of 100 to 300 PPM depending on the part configuration and the sort criteria.

This machine is specifically designed to sort standard screws along with nuts, bushings and rivets with a diameter range of 3mm to 16mm and a length range of 15mm to 115mm. The PSE series can sort for all the following criteria:

• Mixed or foreign material
• Hardness +/- 2 degrees

When combined with a PS or PSL series machine you can then add these sort functions:

• Head height
• Head width
• Recess depth
• Recess presence
• Incomplete threads under the head
• Root diameters of the head
• Major diameter or the outside diameter
• Thread angle and distance
• Point quality
• Overall length and under the head
• Recess alignment
• Head marking
• Top head crack

There are also optional features that CCM offers which are:

• 360 degree side crack detection
• 360 thread damage inspection
• Shank slot presence
