The THI-12RAL is a roll forming machine based on the fact that current roll forming is done on thread rollers and has numerous shortfalls. This machine provides certain criteria that cannot be found in a conventional thread roller. The main feature that separates this machine from its thread roller cousins is the die length this machine provides. The Sanmei THI-12RAL has a die length of 400mm long and a die stroke of 1200mm. The machine comes with a precision fitted carbide lined ram slide for tight tolerance roll forming. A variable speed motor allows the operator complete control of rolling speeds. The range for the machine is 15PPM-50PPM. This machine in process is an excellent choice for manufacturing ball studs, parts that have groove and threads, thread and knurls and many other precision form parts with difficult geometries.
