Absolent offers a full range of filtering systems. The ODR 6000T as with all the Oil Smoke Filter Systems pull contaminated air into the inlet in the lower section of the filter unit and then passes it through the filter stage where the majority of the oil particles are then trapped. When this filter reaches a state of equilibrium, the oil droplets that have been captured drop into the bottom of the filtering system which act as a collection container and are pumped or drained away. Air passes through an additional Absolent filter where the particles that remain are filtered out through a HEPA filter to the external fan. Generally the air is so clean that it can be returned directly to the premises. Oil smoke causes slippery floors and collects oil and dust on machines and walls. It can lead to the coating of ventilation pipes which in turn are a potential fire risk. Oil smoke can lead to coating in heat exchangers which will reduce the efficiency. The cutting oil which drains from the filter can be re-used and the amount of oil smoke polluted air discharged cannot exceed the limits.
